🕒 MCX Trading Sessions
Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) India operates two main trading sessions from Monday to Friday:
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (All commodities)
- Evening Session (Summer): 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Apr–Oct)
- Evening Session (Winter): 5:00 PM to 11:55 PM (Nov–Mar)
Evening timings vary due to international daylight saving adjustments.

- ✅ Intraday positions must be squared off before session close (varies by broker)
- ✅ Overnight holdings require full margin
- ⏳ Track contract expiry and rollover dates
- 📦 Physical delivery possible on select contracts (Gold, Crude, Silver, etc.)

📅 MCX Holidays & Market Off Days
MCX remains closed on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and on the following national holidays:
- Republic Day (26th January)
- Holi
- Independence Day (15th August)
- Diwali (Evening session may be open)
